March Competition - "Spring in my step!"
01/03 at 10:35am
Report post
Hello!

Spring is officially upon us, so I thought it'd be great to set it as the theme for this month's competition smile I'm hoping for plants in bloom, flowers, fresh sunny scenes - that kind of thing smile

As usual, the competition runs for the whole of March, with last entries being Wednesday 31st March 2010.

As per normal, all entries are judged based on the number of positive votes they receive and on the comments and feedback made on them by other drawplus.com members. You know the rules by now!

The best entry walks away with some free Serif software of their choice from our goodie bag, so get drawing and win some free software! The goodie bag is the same as last month, with the winner being able to pick one of the following titles for free:

Digital Scrapbook Artist 2
AlbumPlus X4
PanoramaPlus X4
WebPlus X4
PagePlus X4
DrawPlus X3
PhotoPlus X3
MoviePlus X3
Digital Photo Suite 2009

Please see the 'How to enter the competition!' thread for details of how to enter!

Good luck!

Cheers,
Matt

Here's an old one from me this time (hope no one minds). All created using quick shapes, some altered by converting to curves and adjusting the nodes (rabbits and moles were all ellipses while the lamb's wool used Quick Clouds). Thick outlines were used to maintain the 'toony' feel to the drawing.

I hope you like my selection of spring flowers. Primroses, forgetmenots and violets. All drawn separately as individual flowers and then combined to form the picture.

In my country Spring the season of Colours & togetherness. In this time we feel the climate change, the sunny blue sky, so many flowers & green trees. A NEW BEGINNING. So in this picture I have a sun which will start a fresh & new life. A sunny Sky & green trees. Two different coloured boy represents the togetherness of human as they play together without their religion & body colour. There is a fence which is made by guns (There will be no need for guns in any other way).

Hope you like it smile

This, of course, is what happens in the sky when spring time arrives. NASA have proof but are unwilling to disclose this information to the public wink
