Whenever I copy a picture or some sort of graphic from an Internet site, it always comes with a background, usually white. When I import this picture or graphic into my DrawPlus programme to work on it I want to save or export the picture without the background. Can DrawPlus do this? |

Secondly, The image will usually be a jpg - these do not contain any form of transparency. A transparent area will need to be cut out from this image. DrawPlus SE does not contain the Cutout Studio which makes this pretty easy, you would need to upgrade to DrawPlus X3 for this. The only way to do this in SE (the hard way) is to draw around the area of the image you want to retain, selecting both the image and the shape, choose either clip or crop to top. It's best to use the pen (my preference) or pencil tool with no line. Finally export as a 32 bit png file (this includes transparency). Lower quality png's can have transparency checked, 24 bit with transparency is the same as 32 bit. Hope this helps. Ken (Major Confusion) Sharing the FUN with Serif software |
